We are excited and honoured to announce that AAU is affiliated with Universities in Russia & China focussing on professional development and expanding leadership in the field of urology.

The aim is to foster fruitful, long-term partnerships to promote, co-ordinate and manage the various administrative and academic opportunities and to strengthen the association’s leading role locally and internationally.

Bashkir State Medical University is the center of medical and pharmaceutical sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

For more than 85 years the institution has been successfully training specialists for health care, scientific and pedagogical work in the sphere of professional medical and pharmaceutical education of the Russian Federation. 2. Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, China

The University was established in 1994 through the generous donation of Sir Run Run Shaw, a well-known Hong Kong businessman and philanthropist, as well as matching funds from the Zhejiang government. SRRSH is also a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

Dr. Li specializes in treating urinary tract stone through minimally invasive way such as flexible ureteroscope and percutaneous nephrostolithotomy. He performs more than 20 operations monthly by using DaVinci robot system for prostate cancer.

Participate in a Multicenter Research Study

It’s the first time in the Arab region, AAU is conducting a unique multicenter research study on Flexible Ureteroscopy.

The aim of this research study is to help urologists implement and more effectively participate in the research study providing a key resource for advancing patient care.

Ureteroscopy plays a main role in treating different sizes and location of stones. It is necessary to discuss the impacted ureteric stone due to the higher incidence of complications that may happen with impacted stone. Special technical steps should be considered when you are treating an impacted ureteric stone.

Dr. Yasser Farahat is a Professor of Urology. He is the Secretary General of Arab Association of Urology & Chairman of Arab School of Urology.His special interests & researches did include minimally invasive surgery, endo-urology and reconstructive urology.

In the video, Dr. Aditya demonstrated laparoscopic right side donor nephrectomy, IVC cuff was taken and intracorporeal laparoscopic suturing was done.
